Logan Humphrey
Logan Humphrey is a writer and journalist based in Athens, Ohio, with a BS in Journalism from Ohio University and a passion for storytelling that runs from film criticism to financial aid. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing Nonfiction at Ohio University, where she has also worked as a Lead Tutor at the Academic Achievement Center, guiding fellow students through the writing process.
Her journalism background is genuinely broad. As a Contributing Writer at The Post — Ohio University's independent student newspaper — she spent over three years writing weekly articles covering film, TV, music reviews, and entertainment, developing the cultural literacy and editorial discipline that good writing at any level requires. She has also served as Department Editor at Southeast Ohio Magazine and as an Editorial Intern at Great Lakes Publishing, building experience across editorial, publishing, and content creation.
At Grantford, Logan covers college funding strategy and college selection — including how families can save for college, what federal funding means for private universities, and how students can build meaningful experience early in their degrees. Her journalism instincts show in how she approaches these topics: with clear framing, good research, and a reader-first sensibility.
She is based in Athens, Ohio.
