Liz Anastasiadis
Liz Anastasiadis is a writer and journalist based in Cleveland, Ohio, with a BA in English Creative Writing and a Narrative Journalism Concentration from Denison University. Their journalism career has taken them across print, digital, and broadcast contexts — from staff reporting at The Newark Advocate and WKBN in Youngstown to international coverage at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, one of the most widely distributed independent news organizations in the world. They have also contributed to Mood of Living Magazine and SMITH Magazine, and are a member of the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA).
At Grantford, Liz covers student loans, scholarships, and FAFSA mechanics — the financial aid questions that students are most likely to be googling alone at midnight. Their journalism background shows in how they approach these topics: with precision, a commitment to accuracy, and an instinct for finding the angle that actually matters to the reader.
They are based in Cleveland, Ohio.
